To add attachment - Push the selected attachment into the female connector until it locks in place.

To remove attachment - Press the red button on the shaft and pull the attachment out from the female connector. 

The Makita 191N49-6 brush cutter attachment is compatible with the growing split shaft family of compact tools that are easy to transport and quickly connect to the power unit.

The narrow guard provides a clear sight of the nylon cutting head with a cutting diameter of 330mm. The EM409MP is also compatible with a 255mm plastic blade, which is available as an optional accessory.
